Ecoimagineers is an environmental program series focused on reuse, creativity, and caring for our community.
Eco-Imagineers is back! This session focuses on recycling and reusing materials to help gardens and communities thrive. Kids will learn how everyday items can be reused in creative ways and explore how recycling helps protect the environment and support healthy gardens. Using reused and recycled materials, kids will design garden stakes that will be used in the community garden. Celebrate Earth Day with us, and leave your mark on the East Branch community garden project.Â
Due to the historic nature of the EVPL East, West and Stringtown buildings their meeting rooms are not fully ADA accessible. Located at 840 E. Chandler Ave., EVPL East was one of three original libraries built in Evansville with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. Along with EVPL West, it was dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Renovated in 2003, the building is surrounded by a park-like setting and features a spacious meeting room, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
