READ Center - River RoomKids ages 9-12 can learn all about theatre within this week-long program!
Each day will have a different tri-state community theatre representative offering a workshop on topics such as acting, directing, improv, storyboarding, tech work, and much more!
*This is a registered event! Registering for one day will automatically register you for all five days of the camp. Also, per-policy: Children 8-10 may participate in a library program without a caregiver in the room, but the caregiver needs to remain on site or provide contact information when signing the child into a program.
EVPL programs are not designated to accommodate large groups from camps, daycares, and preschools without advance notice. If you would like to bring your group to one of our programs, please contact the location listed at least five days in advance. Large groups that arrive without advance notice may not be able to fully participate.

EVPL Central
*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
