What sparks your curiosity, creativity, and passion? This exhibit celebrates love in all its many forms. Exhibit is open Monday-Friday from 10:00 am- 4:00 pm. It is CLOSED on weekends.
The theme ties into EVPL’s first author for SPEAK 2026, Sarah Adams, and her books about small towns, family, friendship, and love.
Artists can submit one piece for EVPL’s first juried art show. Interested artists can receive a registration form by emailing Arts@evpl.org. Completed forms must be received by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, April 1. Pieces should be dropped off in the Rotunda Meeting Room on the second floor at EVPL Central on Monday and Tuesday, April 6 and 7 from 10 am-4 pm.
The public is invited to a reception with the artists on Friday, May 1 from 4:00-5:30 pm in the EVPL Central Rotunda.

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
