Exhibit curator Tom Lonnberg will explore select historic photographs from Vanderburgh and its contiguous counties-Henderson, Gibson, Posey, & Warrick-juxtaposed with their modern-day counterparts.
This talk is based on the 2025 Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science exhibition Tri-State Then & Now. In this presentation, Tom Lonnberg will explore select historic photographs from Vanderburgh and its contiguous counties—Henderson, Gibson, Posey, & Warrick—juxtaposed with their modern-day counterparts. In many cases, the city and townscapes represented in the photographs have changed dramatically while others are less altered.Â
