Join us as we learn new skills and get ready for kindergarten! Children ages 4-6, who are entering kindergarten this year or next school year, accompanied by a parent/guardian, are welcome to attend.
Each session will focus on a different topic. Program space and supplies will be provided, but are limited.
Schedule:
Week 1: Language and Literacy
Week 2: Science and Math
Week 3: Gross and Fine Motor Skills
EVPL programs are not designed to accommodate large groups from camps, daycares, and preschools without advance notice. If you would like to bring your group to one of our programs, please contact the programmer listed at least five days in advance. Large groups that arrive without advance notice may not be able to fully participate.
Located at 840 E. Chandler Ave., EVPL East was one of three original libraries built in Evansville with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. Along with EVPL West, it was dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Renovated in 2003, the building is surrounded by a park-like setting and features a spacious meeting room, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
