Join local artist Kameron Nosko and learn to use recycled materials to create your own collage!
Kameron Nosko enjoys making collage art with organic materials including dead bugs, dried leaves, flowers, etc. What one might consider trash, she can't help but see as art! She has a way of finding beauty in it all.Â
In this class, we will provide basic materials like glue, paint, yarn, ribbon, etc., as well as cardboard for our "canvas." Kameron uses everything from thrifted canvasses, vintage cigar boxes, or cereal boxes for the base of her mixed media collages; if you have a vision, you are welcome to bring whatever you need to make that happen. If you have weird stuff you think you could make into something interesting, bring it! There isn't really a limit to what you can do.
During this class, Kameron will bring a few of her pieces, talk about them, and let you in on all her collage secrets. Then, we will each pick our own concept/theme/idea and get to work.
This class is open to anyone and everyone who may be interested.
