Explore Dr. King's "I have a dream speech" as you listen to a recording of him delivering it. Then share what these words have meant to you, and how we can continue his legacy of change through love.
EVPL Stringtown is debuting a new community series: In their own words. One Monday of every other month we will host a different famous orator's words and whenever possible, a recording of their speeches to help us listen, learn and live by their example. The first person showcased in this series, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., will share his visions and hopes for the world with us. Enjoy a craft for the young and young at heart, and time to let his words sit in your mind and heart, as we share their personal and global impact. Join us again in March!
Due to the historic nature of the EVPL East, West and Stringtown buildings their meeting rooms are not fully ADA accessible. If you are interested in participating in a program that is not accessible please contact that location to arrange alternate accommodations. For current information on programming, please visit events.evpl.org.
