Join EVPL librarians along with representatives from Fifth Third for FREE financial wellness and empowerment. Registration is required. Open this event for more info!

EVPL and Fifth Third will share information on protecting your identity and avoiding scams. Librarians will present various print and digital resources available to you at EVPL locations in print, as well as online through databases. Fifth Third will discuss strategies to protect your identity and avoid scams through Empower U. This program is free and attendance does not require a library card or an account with Fifth Third.

This program is for informational purposes only. It does not endorse specific financial institutions or sell specific services. Librarians are not legal or financial professionals and will direct you to contact a trusted financial representative for assistance.

About the branch

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
