Teens grades 6-9 will enjoy a three-day-long robotics camp featuring the LEGO Mindstorms robots! Build and program your own Mindstorms robot to boost STEAM and coding skills. Registration required.

Registering for one day will automatically register you for all three days of the camp. This program is designed for children with no previous LEGO Mindstorm robot experience.

EVPL programs are not designed to accommodate large groups from camps, day cares, and preschools without advance notice.  If you would like to bring your group to one of our programs, please contact the programmer listed at least five days in advance.  Large groups that arrive without advance notice may not be able to fully participate.

About the branch

*Originally opened in 1932 and designated as Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library’s main branch, EVPL Central is located at 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. With 145,000 square feet, the building contains areas for kids and teens, Maker Central, Education Central, Business Central, study rooms, and the Indiana Room, a special collection of materials that focus on local and regional history. Available for public use, EVPL Central also features the Browning Rooms, a conference room, and a large group room.
