An introduction to the many language-learning resources available through EVPL and the Indiana State Library.
Did you know that all Indiana residents have FREE access to Rosetta Stone through the Indiana State Library? No matter what your age, goals, or learning style might be, EVPL can help you find the right resources to set you up for success on your learning journey!
In this informative session, we will cover how to navigate resources on the EVPL and Inspire websites, how to set up an INSPIRE account for Rosetta Stone, how to establish good practice habits, and more!
Due to the historic nature of the EVPL East, West and Stringtown buildings their meeting rooms are not fully ADA accessible. If you are interested in participating in a program that is not accessible please contact that location to arrange alternate accommodations. Located at 2000 W Franklin St., EVPL West was one of three original libraries built in Evansville with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie. Along with EVPL East, it was dedicated and opened to the public on January 1, 1913. Renovated in 2003, the building is surrounded by a park-like setting that is home to annual events like the Farmer’s Market and West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. EVPL West features a spacious meeting room, public access computers, and comfortable adult and youth areas.
