The Browning Genealogy and Local History Database has been one of the most used genealogical databases in the Evansville area for decades. Please join us for a brief overview of the brand new website where you'll find all of the genealogical data you've been searching all these years, but on an updated and more user-friendly website. You'll learn about the wealth of genealogical data they have available that you can use to fill out your family tree and they will show you how to navigate the new advanced and overall search options and give you some tips for finding what you are looking for in this genealogical database.

About the branch

Opened in the spring of 2003, EVPL Oaklyn is located on the corner of Oak Hill and Lynch Roads at 3001 Oaklyn Drive. Featuring a green roof that helps regulate the temperature of the building and provides a valuable space for a meadow, the building itself has received national attention and won multiple design awards. EVPL Oaklyn boasts open spaces, study rooms, public access computers, and a popular meeting room.
