Mushroom and fungi are everywhere and this massive kingdom encompasses millions of varied lifeforms. Join local mycologist Joshua Dessauer from Nature's Legacy Mushrooms and EVPL for a mushroom identification hike at USI's South Trails.

As you come onto campus, turn right and head behind the Health Professions Center onto Clarke Lane. As you round to the left, the road becomes Bent Trail Twig Lane, and we will meet at the Bent Twig Trailhead to the right. This link provides a trail map, safety measures, and trail rules. This map is a general USI campus map. Participants of the hike will need to sign a liability waiver once you arrive before participating in the hike. Registration is required.
